DC Student and Educator Wellbeing
UPDATED MAY 2022
EmpowerK12, in partnership with DC charter school networks, local school-based mental health experts from schools, and the Center for Health and Health Care in Schools at GW, set out to learn how DC students and educators feel about and experience life and school.

The survey data below are disaggregated by student vulnerability status. Students designated as “more vulnerable” provided a negative response to food security, home stability, and neighborhood safety questions, and “most vulnerable” students provided multiple negative responses.
